RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
Peter R. Downing has a blend of business, academic, federal government and international development work experience. He earned his accounting designation with an international firm of Chartered Accountants in Montréal, Québec. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Concordia University and a Master in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
A former tenured member of Faculty, Peter Downing has taught management and accounting courses at several Ontario Schools of Business: Carleton University, University of Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Western Ontario. His management consulting assignments, research and travels have taken him across Canada, to the United States, Europe, Australia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean region.
Research Work-in Progress: Main Street Capitalism Four-bottom line Main Street performance scorecards reporting. Climate Change Initiative Scorecards --- Scopes 1, 2 and 3 and contemporary themes in management.
